Saturday blends into Sunday with a shuttle pick up at noon, an hour ride to LAX, 37 minutes of check in and security and then a long wait until our flight leaves and then a 9.5 hour flight and then going through customs in Heathrow and then taking the Express train to Paddington and then getting the central line to the Barbican Station and then the walk with luggage to the hotel. It is about 4 am to our bodies. AND then the wait to check in. Finally in our rooms and able to take a shower we all rest for a bit before going out to explore our neighborhood. Groups head off in different directions to explore different things and get some dinner - which is really brunch by our internal clocks.
All the students but one have arrived. We begin in earnest tomorrow.
